Spin off from the successful BBC crime series "Z Cars" in which Detective Chief Superintendent Barlow and his now promoted second in command Detective Chief Inspector Watt are transferred to run a regional crime squad.


Synopsis: Sergeant Allin and Detective Constable Morgan are sent to a small Welsh rural police station to do some surveillance on poacher Josh Evans and his son Tom who has a criminal record. With their cottage two miles from the nearest road the local police inspector has spotted a mysterious stranger, believed to an escaped prisoner, hiding out there. The two officers quickly discover they are involved in a game of cat and mouse with the mysterious stranger, the poacher's son and another unknown male.
